What kind of live translation would you like?

Conference presentation interpreting
Large conferences or presentations use simultaneous translation with audio devices.
Smaller round table conferences use simple microphones and sequential one person speaking at a time such as a question and answer session.
Usually these events require both English to Italian and Italian to English translating.
Let me know about the event, when, where and how much time. I will reply to you with costs and availability.

Urgent help for meetings
Often I support people in urgent situations or make telephone calls on their behalf such as to find a reliable local electrician.
Meetings can be in person, virtual online such as zoom or a telephone call on your speaker phone when you are at a local office.
Examples:
real estate purchases, construction projects, contract negotiations, multinational condominium meetings, and individual visits to offices.

Real estate interpreting
If you don’t speak Italian and buy, sell or inherit property in Italy, a translator’s presence and translations are legally required.
As a buyer you chose the notary. Your notary may offer and charge you their prices for their office assistant to translate for you.
Similarly, your notary, real estate or bank agent may speak some or no English.
Alternatively, I offer you independent, local, ministry of justice registered, native English translation support through the entirely transparent process.
Examples:
real estate visits and agreements, in bank mortgage requests, account setup and signing, preliminary purchase and closing notary acts.

Judicial trial interpreting
Live translation between English and Italian for both criminal and civil court cases.
I interpret at the request of the judge, the public prosecutor’s office, defense attorneys and witnesses.
Critical in judicial proceedings is not just translating the words but assuring that the meaning and legal implications are well understood.
Examples:
filing police reports of theft, validation of arrest, preliminary trial investigations, trial testimonies and support of other court appointed subject experts such as psychiatrists.

Wedding interpreting
Getting married on Lake Como?
If anyone of the parties does not speak Italian, then an interpreter is legally required at the ceremony.
As an interpreter approved by the Ministry of Justice, I do live interpreting in native English and Italian at weddings on Lake Como.
Fees are per hour including travel time.
What they say about me
“Very helpful interpreter in Como. Adam helped us a lot with the translation of the contracts and also with some questions we had about the specific situation in Italy. He reacts very quickly and is a very accessible person.”
